SMM steel August 31st news: This week's total inventory of hot-rolled coils was 3.5974 million tons, up 58,900 tons from last week, up 1.66% month-on-month and up 6.93% year-on-year. This week's hot-rolled coil inventory has accumulated significantly, with the overall inventory of the plant stable. On the supply side, the output of hot-rolled coils increased slightly this week. On the demand side, the overall terminal demand is weak, the downstream terminal procurement willingness is low, and the accumulation of social inventory has increased significantly.
