According to the terminal retail data statistics, the domestic new energy passenger vehicle sales in January-July 2023 were about 3.517 million, an increase of 39% year-on-year; the installed capacity of power batteries was about 160.5GWh, an increase of 46% year-on-year. Among them, the sales of new energy passenger vehicles of independent brands accounted for 84% of the total sales, and the installed capacity of power batteries accounted for 79% of the total installed capacity. Three companies, BYD, NIO and Zhongchuangxinhang, accounted for 83% of the installed capacity of independent brand passenger vehicles. The battery matching share of domestic models with the lowest price above 300,000 yuan was 80.4% and 12.5% respectively for NIO and BYD. The battery matching share of domestic models in the 200-300,000 yuan range was 47.2%, 37.1%, 6.6% and 3.2% respectively for BYD, NIO, Zhongchuangxinhang and Xinwangda.
