According to the semi-annual report of China Aluminum Corporation, the newly added domestic bauxite resources in the first half of the year amounted to 21 million tons. In addition, the company has made progress in several key projects: the 420,000-ton electrolytic aluminum project of Huayun Phase III in Inner Mongolia has started construction; the 2 million-ton alumina project of Huasheng Phase II in Guangxi is progressing smoothly; the 250MW photovoltaic project of Yinxing Energy Ningdong has been grid-connected and power generation; the 91.8MW wind turbine transformation project of Helan Mountain has been approved and started; and five distributed photovoltaic power generation projects of China Aluminum Shandong, Shanxi Zhongrun, etc. have been launched. In addition, China Aluminum Corporation has accelerated the development of its products to the middle and high end, and 12 new fine alumina projects, lithium battery separator materials, and micro-powder hydroxyalumina projects have been started; the 120,000-ton pre-baked anode project of China Aluminum Carbon in Baotou has been completed and put into production, and the 95,000-ton carbon ignition project of Fushun Aluminum has been started.

Xinjiang Boyuan Aluminum Co., Ltd. is making every effort to advance the construction of its new-type aluminum semis project with an annual capacity of 150,000 mt. Located in the Huoshaoshan Aluminum Downstream Industrial Park of Xinjiang Zhundong Economic and Technological Development Zone, the project involves a total investment of 180 million yuan and covers an area of 64 mu. It is planned to build two standardized production workshops with a total floor area of 23,000 m². In terms of production line configuration, the project will be equipped with two aluminum rod production lines, eight cast-rolling aluminum coil and strip production lines, and one cold-rolling aluminum coil and strip production line. Once fully completed and put into operation, the project is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 60,000 mt of aluminum wire and 90,000 mt of aluminum coil.
