Nickel ore inventories at Chinese ports up 382,000 wmt WoW

SHANGHAI, Aug 14 (SMM) –

As of August 11, port inventories of nickel ore in China stood at 6.831 million wmt, up 382,000 wmt WoW. The total Ni content was 54,000 mt. The port inventory across seven major Chinese ports totaled 3.371 million wmt, 382,000 wmt higher than the previous week. It is still in a peak period of nickel ore shipments, and the accumulated nickel ore inventory is generally in line with expectations.
