This week, according to the statistics of SMM, the social inventory of hot-rolled coils in 69 warehouses (large sample) across the country was 3.8396 million tons, an increase of 195,500 tons or 5.36% compared with last week, a significant increase on a year-on-year basis.
This week, hot-rolled coil production has slightly recovered, but terminal orders, profits and typhoon effects have been weak, resulting in overall low transactions. The processing level has decreased in many places, and the social inventory has increased significantly compared with the same period last week. Regionally, the social inventory has increased to varying degrees in North China, Northeast China and Central China. Specifically:
