According to multiple media reports, according to officials involved in the negotiations, the Group of Seven (G7) and the European Union will prohibit the restart of pipeline natural gas transmission from Russia.
According to the draft G7 statement seen by the media, the group's major economies will further reduce the use of Russian energy, including preventing the restart of some Russian energy pipelines until "the (Russia-Ukraine) conflict is resolved."
The decision, which will be finalised at next week's G7 summit, is aimed at suppressing Russia's energy revenues, the report said.
