An Aluminium Plant in Guizhou Province Plans to Stop Production

SHANGHAI, May 8 (SMM) - According to SMM survey, an aluminium factory in Guizhou plans to stop production in mid-May. The company cut its production in a large scale at the beginning of this year due to the power shortage in Guizhou, and the subsequent production resumption was slow due to various reasons. Now the company plans to completely halt its production. SMM data shows that the company has a built-up production capacity of 130,000 mt, and its operating production capacity is about 50,000 mt at the end of April.
