






Based on the April results released by the five Korean automakers on May 2, the global sales of South Korean cars were 683,742 vehicles, an increase of 8.6% year-on-year.
The supply of automotive chips has returned to normal and the production has increased, so the time to pick up the car after purchasing has been shortened. In terms of brands, Hyundai Motor's global sales totalled 3,362.12 million units in April, an increase of 8.5% year-on-year, of which domestic sales were 66,660 units, an increase of 12.2%.
Overseas sales were 2,695.52 million units, an increase of 7.6%. Sales of hybrid models increased by 113.2% to 10,524 units, and sales of electric models increased by 18% to 7,340 units. The seventh-generation new GRANDEUR launched by Hyundai at the end of last year sold 9,997 units in South Korea in April, continuing to top the sales list in the local market.
The accumulative sales of GRANDEUR in the first four months of this year reached 39,861 units, ranking first.
