Compared with the production of silicon wafers and solar cells in March, the output of modules was only around 38 GW in March. Even in April, the domestic module production is expected to be only around 42 GW, and the supply of cells is obviously oversupplied.

In the second quarter, if the downstream demand fails to match the supply of cells and silicon wafers, there will be an accumulation of cells until cell manufacturers are forced to reduce production and destock inventories.

At that time, there will be a risk of excess silicon wafers.
