White Paper on Motive Battery Development Action: Specific Energy Cost of Liquid Batteries Will Drop By 2025

The China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance released a white paper on the high-quality development of power batteries. The white paper proposes that by 2025, the specific energy of liquid batteries will be higher than 350Wh/kg, the number of cycles will be higher than 1000 times or 12 years, and the cost will be lower than 0.55 yuan/kg.

The capacity retention rate is not less than 80% in the environment of -20 ℃, the power battery has a charging capacity above 3C, and the specific energy of all solid-state monomers reaches 500Wh/kg; build a safety guarantee system for the whole life cycle of the power battery system to ensure In the case of thermal runaway of the battery cells, the battery system will not catch fire; form 4-5 leading enterprises with a production and sales scale of more than 60GWh (about 80GWh plus energy storage) and international competitiveness; cultivate and form a batch of power battery cascade utilization and recycling enterprise with a capacity of 10,000 mt, with a recycling rate of more than 95% of lithium metal;

Promote the implementation of carbon footprint management of the power battery production system, promote the reduction of carbon intensity, and effectively control the total carbon emissions; power battery cells form 8-12 standardized specifications and sizes, and accelerate the promotion and application of battery replacement;

Overseas production and sales of power battery industry will reach more than 30%.
