SHANGHAI, Apr 17 - Today, the US dollar fluctuated slightly and fell back. As of 15:37 CST, the US dollar index fell slightly by 0.05%.
Crude oil futures rose slightly. As of 15:05, WTI oil advanced 0.05%, and Brent oil rose 0.07%.
As of the closing of the intraday trading, SHFE tin soared by the daily limit, SHFE nickel jumped 2.84%, SHFE lead gained 0.72%, SHFE aluminium and zinc rose about 0.5%, and SHFE copper rose 0.16%. Iron ore fell 0.06%, stainless steel rose nearly 2%, coking coal rose 0.74%, rebar and hot-rolled coil climbed about 0.4%, and coke increased 0.19%.
In terms of precious metals, Shanghai gold fell 1.3%; Shanghai silver slumped 1.27%.
As of 15:21, COMEX gold and silver rose about 0.6%.
