In the past quarter, Geely's Panda mini has attracted widespread attention from the market once it was launched. As a strategic partner of Geely, Gotion High-tech provided 12,350 sets of power batteries for Panda mini in March, guaranteeing Geely’s new car delivery and sales growth.
It is reported that the Panda mini is a miniature pure electric vehicle launched by Geely in February 2023. There are currently two models with a battery service life of 120km and 200km respectively, both of which are equipped with LFP power batteries produced by Gotion High-tech.
Gotion High-tech supplies power batteries to Panda mini since October 2022. As of the end of March 2023, Gotion High-tech has successively delivered nearly 30,000 sets of batteries to Geely, of which 12,350 sets were supplied in a single month in March. According to the China Passenger Car Association, the sales volume of Panda mini in February was 6,661 units. With the release of production capacity and sales increase, Gotion High-tech is expected to supply more than 120,000 sets of power batteries to Geely throughout 2023.
