SHANGHAI, Mar 28 – As Rio Tinto started mining at the Oyu Tolgoi underground copper mine in Mongolia, it is estimated that from 2028 to 2036, the Oyu Tolgoi open-pit and underground mines can produce about 500,000 mt of copper per year, making it the fourth largest copper mine in the world.
