Brazil Cancelling Import Tariffs on Certain Aluminium Plate/Sheet to Have Limited Impact on Chinese Exports

SHANGHAI, Mar 21 (SMM) – Starting from March 10, Brazil has cancelled import tariffs on six products, including two types of steel products and aluminium plate/sheet.

SMM survey shows that the share of China’s aluminium plate/sheet and strip exports to Brazil has risen recently, but the share has hovered around 2%.

The removal of import tariffs will boost China’s aluminium plate/sheet exports to Brazil, but the total impact will be limited.
