SHANGHAI, Mar 21 (SMM) - Ferrochrome plants in the south bore losses since the dry season in south China has not yet ended. Chrome ore prices once climbed to a high level, arousing a wait-and-see sentiment among downstream enterprises. Chrome ore arrivals at ports rose somewhat in February, curbing the prices from growing. In February, the chrome ore prices remained stable. Most of the ferrochrome plants in the south bore losses based on the spot raw materials. It is expected that the cost support of ferrochrome will remain strong in the short term.
