SHANGHAI, Mar 15 (SMM) – For battery scrap, vigorous replacement of batteries after the CNY holiday and the stock accumulation during the holiday have led to constant price declines, which even fell ahead of lead prices at some points.
As of March 10, SMM prices of electric car battery scrap stood at 8,800-8,950 yuan/mt, down 150 yuan/mt from a month earlier.
Lower battery scrap prices reduced the cost of secondary lead.
