Two large secondary lead smelters in east China have temporarily suspended scrap battery purchases due to market conditions and invoice quotas, with the resumption time yet to be determined. One of the smelters halted production last week due to equipment failure and is still under maintenance, while the other has sufficient raw material inventory and continues normal smelting operations.
