SHANGHAI, Feb 20 (SMM) - The lithium hydroxide prices continued to decline last week. Top-tier manufacturers mainly concentrated on export orders while also delivering a small number of domestic orders. In general, the export and domestic lithium hydroxide prices both retreated due to longstanding weak demand. Second-tier manufacturers mainly produced to meet domestic demand, and their offers continued to weaken due to soft demand. Some of them were forced to sell at rather low prices.
Lithium hydroxide prices are expected to decline further in the near term, but at a slower pace than lithium carbonate thanks to the support from overseas prices that were higher than domestic ones.
