Lygend's phase two high-pressure acid leach (HPAL) cobalt-nickel project on the Obi Island, Indonesia was put into production on the morning of January 17, 2023.

SHANGHAI, Jan 18 — Lygend's phase two high-pressure acid leach (HPAL) cobalt-nickel project on the Obi Island, Indonesia was put into production on the morning of January 17, 2023.

After 16 months of construction, the main production line of the hydrometallurgical second phase has been completed, which run trial production on January 14. The production line is currently operating at a 60% capacity.
