SHANGHAI, Jan 17 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that the global iron ore shipments totalled 29.45 million mt in the week ending January 13, an increase of 1.1% week-on-week.
The four major mining companies shipped a combined 22.43 million mt of iron ore last week, a drop of 557,000 mt from a week earlier.
Iron ore arrivals at Chinese ports dropped 1.27% on a weekly basis to 27.57 million mt last week.
