SHANGHAI, Jan 5 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 5.67 million mt as of Thursday January 5, up 307,000 mt or 5.7% from a week ago, and up 9.6% from the same period last year.
The inventory across social warehouses was 3.92 million mt, up 415,100 mt or 11.85% on the week, and a gain of 13.1% on the year.
The in-plant inventory stood at 1.76 million mt, down 108,100 mt or 5.8% on the week, and up 2.5% on the year.
