SHANGHAI, Dec 21 (SMM) - According to the General Administration of Customs, Chinese lithium carbonate imports in November totalled 12,412 mt, up 50% from October and 203% from last year. The lithium carbonate exports in November stood at 1,028 mt, up 72% from October and 51% from last year. After adjustment, Chinese lithium carbonate supply deficit came in at 6,109 mt in November and the supply-demand imbalance is expected to be gradually corrected in December.
Chinese lithium hydroxide exports totalled 8,877 mt in November, down slightly by 9% MoM and up 49% YoY. The lithium hydroxide imports wre 151 mt in November, down 33% MoM and up 180% YoY. After adjustment, Chinese lithium hydroxide supply deficit was 3,828 mt in November, which is expected to narrow in December.
