China Rebar Stocks up 1% on Week

SHANGHAI, Dec 1 (SMM) – The total inventory of rebar across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 5.07 million mt as of Thursday December 1, up 48,600 mt or 1% from a week ago, and down 26.0% from the same period last year.

The inventory across social warehouses was 3.18 million mt, up 13,000 mt or 0.41% on the week, and a drop of 24.1% on the year.

The in-plant inventory stood at 1.89 million mt, up 35,600 mt or 1.9% on the week, and down 28.9% on the year.
