Wuhu Approves Environmental Impact Assessment for Anhui Motu's 500,000 kVAh Lead-Carbon Battery Project

[Lead-Acid Battery Enterprise Dynamics] Recently, the Wuhu Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment issued an approval opinion, and the environmental impact assessment for the annual production of 500,000 kVAh lead-carbon battery assembly project of Anhui Motu Technology Group Co., Ltd. was officially approved. The enterprise will implement various environmental protection measures in accordance with the requirements of the environmental impact assessment approval, advance subsequent preliminary work, and start the project construction after all conditions are ready.

[Lead-Acid Battery Enterprise Update] Shengyang Co., Ltd. announced that its H1 2026 revenue was 2.027 billion yuan, up 18.18% YoY; net profit attributable to shareholders of the publicly listed firm was 110 million yuan, down 14.72% YoY from 129 million yuan in the same period of 2025; net profit excluding non-recurring items was 107 million yuan, down 11.93% YoY from 122 million yuan in the same period of 2025. The YoY decline in net profit was primarily due to significant exchange losses caused by RMB exchange rate fluctuations and the stage loss incurred by the controlled subsidiary Shengyang Lico's cylindrical lithium battery business, which is still in the incubation phase.
