SMM Statistics on Port Shipments of Steel and Related Products under Domestic Trade and Exports, as Well as Port Arrivals during November 12-18

SHANGHAI, Nov 21 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that China’s port shipments of steel and related products under domestic trade totalled 6.48 million mt in the week of November 12-18, down 12% week-on-week.

Arrivals across Chinese ports under domestic trade were 5.93 million mt last week, down 28,700 mt on a weekly basis.

Port shipments outside China were 1.76 million mt last week, up 18% from a week ago. Shipments by Chinese ports for exports were 1.61 million mt, a decrease of 19% on a weekly basis.

Arrivals at China's 119 ports under foreign trade were 170,500 mt, a decrease of 51,100 mt or 23% from a week earlier.
