BYD's New Energy Vehicle Sales Rose 183% Year-on-Year to 201,300 Units in September

SHANGHAI, Oct 10 (SMM) - BYD (002594.SZ) released a production and sales report for September 2022.

SHANGHAI, Oct 10 (SMM) - BYD (002594.SZ) released a production and sales report for September 2022. The company produced 204,900 new energy vehicles last month, a year-on-year increase of 188.1%. Its sales rose 183% year-on-year to 201,300 units in September. The company sold a total of 7,736 new energy passenger vehicles overseas in September.

Its cumulative NEV production totalled 1.19 million units from January to September, a year-on-year increase of 248.74%. It sold 1.18 million NEVs from January to September, a year-on-year increase of 249.56%.

In addition, the company's combined installed capacity of new energy vehicle power batteries and energy storage batteries in September 2022 were about 8.61GWh, and its total installed capacity from January to September amounted to about 57.493GWh.
