China Produced 174.687 mt of Gold in H1, up 14.36% YoY

According to the latest statistics from the China Gold Association, in the first half of 2022, domestic raw gold production was 174.687 mt, an increase of 21.934 mt or 14.36% over the first half of 2021.

SHANGHAI, Jul 27 - According to the latest statistics from the China Gold Association, in the first half of 2022, domestic raw gold production was 174.687 mt, an increase of 21.934 mt or 14.36% over the first half of 2021, including 139.154 mt of mineral gold and 35.533 mt of non-ferrous by-product gold. In addition, 55.658 mt of gold was produced from imported raw materials in the first half of 2022, up 6.65% year-on-year. And domestic raw gold production totalled of 230.345 mt, up 12.40% year-on-year, after adding the production based on imported materials.
