SHANGHAI, Apr 14 (SMM) – The SMM prices of battery-grade lithium hydroxide (56.5%, domestic, coarse particles) today are as below.

LME copper prices closed at $9,001/mt last evening, up 0.23%. Trading volume was 14,000 lots and open interest stood at 251,000 lots. SHFE 2305 copper contract finished at 69,460 yuan/mt last evening, down 0.34%. Trading volume was 33,000 lots, and open interest stood at 172,000 lots.

DCE iron ore futures declined by 0.58 % today, the main contract closed 909.5.The traders' willingness to ship is more.The steel mills are active to purchase .

SMM reported that prices of #1 copper cathode rose 675 yuan/mt to 69,640-69,770 yuan/mt on February 21, with the average price of 69,705 yuan/mt.

Some downstream buyers entered the market as SHFE copper prices fell below 68,000 yuan/mt, bolstering spot quotes.
