[LME said: all future nickel contract trading will suspend normal trading of other contracts] LME said on Tuesday that all future nickel contract trading will be suspended at 0815 London time on March 8, 2022 (16:15 Beijing time). LME said nickel trading on the LME Select screen trading system was not allowed and trading on the floor was not allowed.

Trading in all nickel futures contracts will be suspended at 0815 London time (16:15 Beijing time) on March 8, 2022, LME said on Tuesday.

LME said nickel trading on the LME Select screen trading system was not allowed and trading on the floor was not allowed.

LME said it would suspend nickel trading for at least the rest of Tuesday.

LME said the deposit for the LME nickel contract will be calculated temporarily on the basis of the closing price on March 7, 2022.

The exchange also said that other contracts would continue to trade normally.
