[Baosteel Desheng's proposed stainless steel production capacity of 3.06 million tons is expected to start in July 2022] on February 28th, the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the production capacity replacement plan for the construction project of Baosteel Desheng stainless Steel Co., Ltd. The 3.06 million tons of steelmaking capacity is all derived from the total production capacity of 3.41 million tons of three 80-ton converters and one 70-ton converter of Baosteel Desheng stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and the replacement of 3.1 million tons by 1.1 gluta1, of which 3.06 million tons are used for this project and the remaining 40, 000 tons are used for other projects.

On February 28, the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the production capacity replacement plan for the construction project of Baosteel Desheng stainless Steel Co., Ltd., the relevant contents are as follows:

In accordance with the guiding opinions of the State Council on resolving the contradiction of serious overcapacity, the opinions of the State Council on eliminating excess capacity and realizing the Development of Iron and Steel Industry and the measures for the implementation of capacity replacement in the Iron and Steel Industry, the capacity replacement plan of the construction project of Baosteel Desheng stainless Steel Co., Ltd. is now made public.

Baosteel Desheng plans to build three 110t AOD and one 120t AOD, with a total stainless steel production capacity of 3.06 million tons. the project is expected to start in July 2022 and is scheduled to be put into production in December 2024.

The 3.06 million tons of steelmaking capacity is all derived from the total production capacity of 3.41 million tons of three 80-ton converters and one 70-ton converter of Baosteel Desheng stainless Steel Co., Ltd. and the replacement of 3.1 million tons by 1.1 gluta1, of which 3.06 million tons are used for this project and the remaining 40, 000 tons are used for other projects.

According to the 2016 list, the steelmaking capacity is 3.41 million tons. Baowu Group and Taigang Group completed the substantive restructuring in August 2020. Baowu Group holding company Baosteel Desheng Company has a production capacity of 3.41 million tons at a discount of 1.1% to 3.1 million tons.

After the withdrawal capacity of 3.41 million tons is reduced by 310000 tons according to 1.1 1, there is a balance of 3.1 million tons. Of these, 3.06 million tons will be used for this project, and the remaining 40, 000 tons will be used for other projects.
