According to reports, the project has a total investment of 13.5 billion yuan, covers an area of 800000 square meters, and has a total production capacity of 45GWh. after it is completed and put into production, it can meet the configuration needs of 600000 electric vehicles every year.

On February 26, the power battery project of FAW Fudi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. officially started in Changchun, Jilin Province.

According to reports, the project has a total investment of 13.5 billion yuan, covers an area of 800000 square meters, and the total output capacity reaches 45 GWh. after it is completed and put into production, it can meet the configuration needs of 600000 electric vehicles every year, and all of the projects will meet the supporting needs of 1 million new energy vehicles after delivery, with an output value of more than 20 billion yuan.

It is understood that at present, Changchun is speeding up the construction of an international automobile city with China's FAW as the leader, with the goal of building a world-class automobile industry base with an output value of more than one trillion yuan by 2025.

Xu Liuping, chairman and party secretary of FAW, said that the project will be built with the concept of green intelligence and global leadership, and that the products will have the advantages of high safety, long life and high life span, and will become a landmark project of Changchun International Automobile City.

Wang Chuanfu, chairman and president of BYD Co., Ltd., said that BYD will strengthen cooperation with China FAW, accelerate the local transformation of green technology, build a strategic base of power batteries in Northeast China, and build a local ecosystem of the automobile industry. contribute to making national automobile brands bigger and stronger.
