Recently, the people's Government of Tuyou Banner signed a cooperation agreement with Xi'an Zhongke New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xi'an Zhongke") for the production of magnesium-based dual-use batteries, according to the Inner Mongolia Tuyou Banner Rong Media Center.
It is understood that Xi'an Zhongke plans to invest 12 billion yuan in Tuyou Banner's new industrial park to build a new ultra-low temperature 40GW-doped national defense and military, high-end civil power battery production project and engineering and technology research and development center. The project is planned to be built in three phases, with a construction scale of 5GW in the first phase, 15GW in the second phase and 20GW in the third phase.
It is reported that magnesium-based batteries can work normally in the temperature range of-40 ℃-65 ℃, and have excellent characteristics such as ultra-low temperature, small size, light weight and so on.
It is understood that in order to meet the national energy strategic needs, Xi'an Optical Machinery Institute introduced a special magnesium-based battery research team in 2008, established a new energy research center, and established Xi'an Zhongke in 2010. Professional R & D and production of ultra-low temperature, high rate, high specific energy high-end magnesium-based (lithium-ion) battery products.
At present, Xi'an Zhongke overseas Investment 5 companies, they are Taifu heavy equipment Group Energy Management Co., Ltd. (49%), Shanghai Zhongke Tonghai Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd. (35%), Huizhou Zhongke New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (30%), Zhongke (Changchun) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (30%), and Guangzhou Wenhua New Energy Industry Investment and Development Co., Ltd., At present, the company has been cancelled.
