In early 2022, Indonesian national mining holding company Mind ID signed a memorandum of understanding with Guodian to power the nickel-iron smelter of ANTAM Co., Ltd.

In early 2022, Indonesia's national mining holding company (Mining Industry Indonesia or Mind ID) signed a memorandum of understanding with Guodian to supply electricity to the nickel-iron smelter of Aneka Tambang (ANTAM) Co., Ltd.

Under the agreement, Guodian is prepared to provide 75 megawatts of electricity over the next 30 years. As a result, President Jokowi's coveted smelter will soon go into production and will bring profits to Indonesia.

Energy observer Comaidi (Komaidi Notonegoro) said in a statement on Tuesday that the project undertaken by, Mind ID is one of several important mining-related projects in Indonesia.
