Optimising the national layout and accelerating the recycling industry.

SHANGHAI, Feb 17 (SMM) - Ge Honglin, president of China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association, met with Xia Nong, the first-class inspector of the Department of Industry, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and his team at the headquarters of the association on February 15. He said that copper is an important non-ferrous metal. All enterprises in the industry should strengthen cooperation to improve their bargaining power and right to speak in the international market. At the same time, they should strengthen the exploration layout of overseas resources and ensure the safety of supply chain. It was hoped that with the support of the Industry Department of NDRC, the work would be pushed forward from several directions, such as, controlling the total amount, adjusting the import and export, strengthening scientific and technological innovation, optimising the national layout and accelerating the recycling industry.
