Recently, China Nonferrous Metals Industry No. 6 Metallurgical Construction Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Liuye) won the bid for the first and third sections of the Indonesia OBI Nickel-Cobalt Wet Phase III project, with a cumulative bid amount of 881 million yuan for the two bidding sections, realizing a good start to the development of overseas markets in 2022.
The project is a laterite nickel wet smelter and nickel sulfate refinery developed by Ningbo Liqin Resources Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. in cooperation with Indonesian partners, including mineral processing engineering, wet smelting engineering, nickel-cobalt refining project, tailings depot project and so on.
The first section of the project which won the bid in Liuye is a mineral processing project, and the construction scale mainly includes ore washing and mineral processing workshop, limestone project, external pipe network project and so on. The planned construction period of the project is 473 calendar days, and the winning price amounts to 393 million yuan.
The third section of the project which won the bid in Liuxi smelter is a smelting project. the construction scale mainly includes neutralization of iron and aluminum, dense separation of iron and aluminum, precipitation of nickel and cobalt hydroxide, nickel and cobalt hydroxide Filter and packaging workshop, air compressor station, air compressor circulating water station and supporting auxiliary projects, etc. The planned construction period of the project is 502 calendar days, and the winning price amounts to 488 million yuan.
In recent years, Liuye has successively entered Guinea, Congo (Kinshasa), Indonesia, Egypt and other countries, focusing on mining and smelting projects to build local network resources, with fruitful results in overseas markets.
