Baosteel Desheng 1780 stainless steel production line realizes finishing rolling and co-rolling of double steel

With the smooth passing of two pieces of steel in the finishing mill, the first F5 throwing steel and the second F1 biting steel, the 1780 production line of Desheng Hot Rolling Plant of Baosteel broke through the rolling gap limit and successfully realized the simultaneous on-line rolling of double steel in the finishing mill. it has become the seventh hot strip production line with this technology in China.

The successful rolling of double steel in 1780 production line can not only greatly increase the daily operation rate of production line, but also fully release production capacity, greatly improve the level of energy saving and consumption reduction, and lay a good foundation for the production target in 2022.

The finishing rolling of double steel has always been regarded as the limit of the rolling rhythm of the hot rolling production line, and its stringent requirements for equipment and process control have deterred many iron and steel counterparts. So far, there are only a handful of domestic production lines of finishing rolling and co-rolling of Shuangang.
