DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Jan 7 (SMM) - According to the Media, the premiums of liquid aluminium scheduled to be shipped to the Japan in January-March have been settled at US$177/mt, down 20% from the previous quarter, mainly because the local spot premiums and overseas prices were both subdued.
The offer was lowered than the premiums of US$220/mt in October-December, marking the first decline in six quarters; and it was even lower than the manufacturer’s initial offer at US$193-195/mt.
Japan is the largest aluminium importer in Asia, and the bid prices for primary aluminium are in premiums over LME aluminium.
