SMM survey: what kind of metal do you like most in 2022?
A few days ago, the manganese-silicon alloy factory carried out a successful sintering test on the backlog of dedusting dust.
The dust dust produced in the manganese-silicon smelting process has a manganese content of about 17%. In the past, it was added to the manganese ore according to the mixing ratio of 5%, and the remaining 95% was piled up, which is a hidden danger of raising dust and environmental protection. For this reason, the factory held a special meeting to work out the experimental scheme of dust removal and sintering. The technician successfully sintered the dedusting ash sinter by adjusting many parameters such as the proportion of water, blue carbon powder and sintering temperature. The manganese content in the mine is 26%-29%, and the iron content is 1.7%-1.9%. The particle size and strength meet the requirements of manganese silicon smelting. Up to now, 565 tons of dust dust sinter has been used in production.
With the success of the test, the difficult problem of solid waste disposal is solved, the risk of environmental protection and ore consumption are reduced, and the maximum benefit of recycling is realized.
