China's import volume of raw aluminum tripled in November compared with the same period last year

[China's original aluminum imports tripled year-on-year in November] according to the online inquiry platform of the General Administration of Customs, China's original aluminum imports in November were 229400 tons, an increase of 64% over the previous month and 309% over the same period last year. India remains China's largest source of primary aluminum imports, importing 147000 tons from India in the month, an increase of 71% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 1193%.

China imported 229400 tons of raw aluminum in November, up 64 per cent from the previous month and 309 per cent from the same period last year, according to the online inquiry platform of the General Administration of Customs.

India remains China's largest source of primary aluminum imports, importing 147000 tons from India in the month, an increase of 71% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 1193%.

Note: 1. Primary aluminum includes unwrought non-alloy aluminum with aluminum content ≥ 99.95%, and unwrought non-alloy aluminum with aluminum content < 99.95%.

2. The total amount of imports (total) also includes some data of origin not listed in the above table.
