[Delong 2400 mm slab caster installation project started smoothly! On December 9th, the installation project of Jiangsu Delong 2400 mm slab caster, known as the largest width of stainless steel in the world, started smoothly. At present, the installation progress of the first 1600 mm slab continuous caster and three 120t AOD refining furnaces started on October 19th has exceeded 90 per cent.

December 9, known as the world's largest width of stainless steel: Jiangsu Delong 2400 mm slab caster installation project started smoothly.

The project is located in Xiangshui Coastal Development Zone, Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, invested and built by Jiangsu Delong Group Company, covering an area of 750mu, with an annual output of 1.35 million tons of high-end stainless steel and a construction area of 540000 square meters. Shanghai Shixi Metallurgical Construction and installation Engineering Co., Ltd. undertakes the installation of equipment for the construction of three 120t AOD refining furnaces and two single-flow slab continuous casting production lines in the refining workshop.

At present, the installation progress of the first 1600 mm slab continuous caster and three 120t AOD refining furnaces started on October 19th has exceeded 90 per cent.

[SMM Nickel Flash] The SMM average price of 10-12% high-grade NPI fell 17.2 yuan/mtu WoW to 1,035.8 yuan/mtu (ex-factory, tax included), while the Indonesia NPI FOB index average price dropped 2.06 $/mtu WoW to 131.2 $/mtu. At the beginning of the week, futures hit limit-down, and nickel prices fell sharply WoW, driving the emergence of arbitrage supplies sold at low prices, leading to a significant decline in high-grade NPI prices.
