Guoxuan Hi-Tech 50GWh Power Battery Project officially started in Xinzhan High-tech Zone, Hefei.

On the evening of December 7, Guoxuan Hi-Tech announced that its 50GWh power battery project had officially started in Hefei Xinzhan High-tech Zone.

According to the plan, the project will be built in two phases. The first phase of the project, which covers an area of about 550mu and a construction area of 300000 square meters, is located in the southwest of the intersection of Weiwu Road and New Bengbu Road in Hefei Xinzhan High-tech Zone. Construction will begin in December 2021 and will be put into production before the end of March 2023. After the completion of the two phases, the target of annual production of 50GWh power batteries is expected to be achieved.

According to Xu Xingwu, executive vice president of Guoxuan Hi-Tech Industrial Research Institute and general director of the new station 50GWh power battery project, the project uses Guoxuan Hi-Tech's brand-new battery platform technology, uses the world's most advanced material system, coupled with better manufacturing technology and more intelligent management mode, makes the products achieve higher energy density, longer cycle life, and better environmental adaptability. It ensures the excellent performance and intrinsic safety of battery products, and will meet the stringent requirements of international first-class mainframe factory for battery performance and quality.

As an important part of the globalization strategy of Guoxuan Hi-Tech, after the project is put into production, it will provide a new generation of battery technology and products for international first-class automotive enterprises and help Guoxuan Hi-Tech move into internationalization. Lu Jun, member of the standing Committee of the Hefei Municipal CPC Committee and vice mayor, said that the project is an important part of Hefei's high-level promotion of new energy vehicles and network-connected automobile industry, and will play an important role in improving the ecological level of Hefei's new energy vehicle industry.
