On December 7th, Beitong Nantong Metal Technology Co., Ltd. held the kick-off meeting of the cold rolling project with an annual output of 600000 tons of stainless steel. The company was established in December 2020 with a total planned investment of 2 billion yuan and covers an area of more than 700mu. The project is scheduled to be built in three phases. In the first phase of the project, an international first-class 18-roll five-stand continuous rolling mill and a global advanced high-speed continuous annealing line are built, with a designed annual output capacity of 600000 tons, covering 200 series and 300 series stainless steel, with an estimated output value of more than 10 billion yuan.

It is reported that the meeting discussed the general plan of the project, the process plan, the reconfirmation of the technical issues of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment, the arrangement of equipment manufacturing, the content and time of raising capital, and the timing of the basic design review meeting.
