






On the morning of November 24th, Penghui Energy (300438) announced that in order to seize the opportunities in the energy storage and power battery market and meet the growing product demand of customers, the company plans to build a Penghui smart energy storage and power battery manufacturing base in the northern ecological new area of Liuzhou City, Guangxi, with the main layout of lithium battery batteries and PACK production lines. The total investment of the project is expected to be about 6 billion yuan, of which the first and second phases of the project are planned to invest 1.2 billion yuan. The investment in fixed assets in the first and second phases of the project is about 800 million yuan; The overall planning and layout capacity of the project is 20GWH, the construction capacity of the first phase is 2GWh, and the construction capacity of the second phase is 2GWh.
Penghui Energy said that this investment is in line with the company's strategic development plan, is conducive to the expansion of the company's energy storage and power battery business scale, and enhances the company's influence and comprehensive competitiveness in the new energy industry. it plays a positive role and far-reaching significance to the industrial layout and future development of the company.
Data show that Penghui Energy was founded in 2001, for more than 20 years has been focused on lithium battery manufacturing and research and development, there are 3C digital battery, power battery, light-action battery, energy storage battery, power tool battery, automotive aftermarket 6 main business. Headquartered in Guangzhou, the group has six modern production bases in Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Henan, Jiangsu, Liuzhou and Fukui, Japan.
In terms of performance, in the first three quarters, Penghui Energy achieved an operating income of 3.896 billion yuan, an increase of 57.37% over the same period last year, and a net profit of 164 million yuan, an increase of 16.53% over the same period last year. At the level of business segments, the company's consumer digital and light power battery business revenue grew steadily, while energy storage battery and new energy vehicle business revenue doubled.
According to the Ping an Securities Research report, in the upstream raw materials, Penghui Energy has participated in the establishment of Sichuan Yingda Lithium Power, which is mainly engaged in lithium iron phosphate precursors, and plans to produce 100000 tons of iron phosphate in the next two years.
On the product side, Penghui Energy focuses on developing lithium iron phosphate batteries for energy storage, and the developed energy storage batteries have excellent cycle performance (long-life cycles up to 15 years / 7000 times), high safety and obvious price competitive advantages. it has obtained batch orders from customers at home and abroad, and obtained the approval of trial production.
On the client side, Penghui Energy focuses on developing high-quality strategic key customers, portable energy storage works with Ecoflow Zhenghao, and its products are sold to global markets such as Asia, the United States and Europe; Communication Energy Storage cooperates deeply with major customers such as Iron Tower, ZTE and China Mobile to become one of the leading domestic 5G base station backup power companies. In the field of large-scale energy storage, the company joined hands with Trina Solar to set up a joint venture to plan the capacity layout of super-10GWh, and signed a framework cooperation agreement with Huadian heavy Industries to cooperate around the business of low-voltage distribution equipment, energy storage systems and battery equipment within the power industry at home and abroad.
Recently, Penghui Energy said in an interactive exchange with investors that the company expects to put into production capacity of about 6GWH in the fourth quarter of this year, including 5GWH square aluminum shell battery and 1GW large cylindrical battery. It is still planning to expand its production capacity next year.
Battery Network noted that in order to grasp the development opportunities of sodium ion batteries and provide customers with more choices of battery products, Penghui Energy has stepped up its research and development of sodium ion batteries in recent years. On October 14, Penghui Energy announced that the company recently signed an investment agreement with Chengdu Bai Sige Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chengdu Bai Sige") and its original shareholders. According to the agreement, the company will invest RMB 10 million in Chengdu BASG, of which RMB 117610 will be included in Chengdu BASG's registered capital, and the remaining RMB 9.88239 million will be included in Chengdu BASG's capital reserve. After the completion of this capital increase, the company holds an 8.33% stake in Chengdu Bai Sige.
