DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Nov 24 (SMM) – Zijin Mining issued an announcement stating that the board of directors agreed to internally approve the construction of a 500,000 mt/year copper smelter project by Kamoa-Kakula Copper Project in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
The total investment of the project is approximately $769 million (including a construction investment of $699 million). The construction period is three years, and the development funds come from Kamoa-Kakula Copper’s own cash flow.
