






Recently, the company signed a "Technology Development (Cooperation) contract" with Tibet Xigaze Zabuye Lithium Industry Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xigaze Lithium Industry"), according to an announcement issued by Jiuwo Hi-Tech (300631). According to the announcement, Xigaze Lithium Industry is a holding subsidiary of the listed company Tibet Mining Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tibet Mining"), with a registered capital of 930 million yuan. The scope of business includes lithium ore, boron ore, sodium chloride, potassium chloride mining and sales.
According to the contract, the name of the technology development project of Jiuwu Hi-Tech is the pilot research project of lithium hydroxide monohydrate of 100 tons / year in Tibet Mining Industry. The project plans to complete the determination and implementation of the pilot technical scheme on July 30, 2022, the pilot research and development content on November 30, 2022, and the conclusion of the project by the end of 2022.
The technical goal of the project is to verify the results of the pilot study on the process of lithium extraction by adsorption coupled membrane by building a pilot test line with an annual production capacity of 100 tons of lithium hydroxide (industrial grade and above quality) (in which the proportion of battery products is ≥ 50%). To investigate the performance and life of titanium adsorbents for industrial extraction of lithium in Zabuye Salt Lake, Tibet, and to optimize the process of lithium extraction by adsorption coupled membrane method. Master the performance parameters of key equipment and materials in high altitude areas of Tibet. Through the technical exploration of this pilot experiment, we can master the lithium extraction process of Zabuye salt lake brine, and verify the technical feasibility of preparing battery-grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate, so as to provide a basis for the feasibility research and design of the 10,000-ton industrialization project of Zabuye Salt Lake in Tibet Mining Industry.
Jiuwu Tech said that the pilot plant for lithium extraction from Zabuye Salt Lake is a production device for the direct production of battery-grade lithium hydroxide from raw brine in the salt lake, and it is also the first application of titanium series adsorbents in the production of lithium extraction by the original halogen adsorption method in carbonate salt lakes. Titanium series adsorbents independently developed by Jiuwu Hi-Tech were used in the pilot plant. The company has full-membrane lithium extraction process from salt lake and large-scale industrial application cases. over the years, the company has continuously deepened the research and development of solutions and products for lithium extraction from salt lake. Aluminum series and titanium series lithium adsorbent materials have been successfully developed and the "adsorption + membrane method" raw brine lithium extraction process has been put forward. this pilot test is conducive to verifying and optimizing the feasibility of the company's "adsorption + membrane method" raw brine lithium extraction process. Further enhance the company's research and application level and business undertaking capacity in the field of lithium extraction from salt lake.
What is worth paying attention to is to further improve the salt lake lithium extraction process and enhance the business competitiveness in the field of salt lake lithium extraction. On October 7th, Jiuwo Hi-Tech announced that the company intends to issue shares to specific objects with a summary procedure to raise no more than 160 million yuan. After deducting the issuance costs, the net funds raised will be put into the salt lake lithium extraction pilot platform construction project, solid and dangerous waste intelligent cloud warehouse comprehensive service project and supplementary liquidity funds.
Among them, the salt lake lithium extraction pilot platform construction project is expected to invest 123 million yuan, to raise funds of 65 million yuan, will build a pilot-scale research and development platform with the salt lake lithium extraction pilot research as the main goal. With the construction of the pilot platform, the company plans to carry out a pilot study on lithium extraction by adsorption + membrane process in Zabuye Salt Lake in Tibet, Anheles Salt Lake in Argentina and Dachaidan Salt Lake in Qinghai.
According to Jiuwo Hi-Tech Analysis, in recent years, under the background of the rapid growth of domestic demand for lithium resources, the increasingly mature process of extracting lithium from salt lakes and the substantial reduction of development costs, it is expected that the development of lithium resources in domestic salt lakes will be accelerated. the market space for the application of lithium extraction technology will be greatly released. The long-term production capacity of domestic salt lake lithium extraction enterprises is planned to reach 300000 tons / year, and it is expected to occupy more than 20% of the global lithium supply market share in the future and become an important part of the global lithium supply side.
