Among them, 15 cases were imported from abroad (4 in Yunnan, 3 in Guangxi, 2 in Shanghai, 2 in Shandong, 1 in Liaoning, 1 in Henan, 1 in Guangdong and 1 in Shaanxi), including 1 case from asymptomatic infection to confirmed case (in Henan). There were 28 local cases (11 in Inner Mongolia, 10 in Alashan League, 1 in Xilingol League, 9 in Gansu, including 5 in Lanzhou, 3 in Zhangye and 1 in Jiayuguan). There were 3 cases in Shaanxi, all in Xi'an, 2 cases in Ningxia, 1 case in Wuzhong City, 1 case in Yinchuan City, 1 case in Beijing, 1 case in Fengtai District, 1 case in Guizhou, 1 case in Zunyi City, 1 case in Qinghai, 1 case in Haidong City). There were no new deaths. There were no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 17 new cured and discharged cases were cured, 1414 close contacts were relieved from medical observation, and 3 severe cases were increased compared with the previous day.

There are 419 confirmed cases (no severe cases) and 1 suspected case imported from abroad. A total of 9474 cases were confirmed, 9055 cases were cured and discharged, and there were no deaths.

As of 24:00 on 21 October, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there were 518 confirmed cases (including 3 severe cases), a total of 91511 cured and discharged cases, and a cumulative death of 4636 cases. a total of 96665 confirmed cases and 1 suspected case have been reported. A total of 1222061 close contacts were tracked and 24473 were still under medical observation.

Twenty-six new asymptomatic infections were reported in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, including 19 imported cases and 7 local cases (3 in Yunnan, all in Dehong Dai Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture; 2 in Hebei, all in Baoding; 2 in Guizhou, all in Zunyi); 1 case was confirmed on the same day (imported from abroad); 13 cases were relieved from medical observation on the same day (all imported from abroad). 384 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (357 cases were imported from abroad).

A total of 28737 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 12311 cases were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (12006 cases were discharged and 213 died), 77 cases were discharged from the Macao Special Administrative region (66 cases were discharged) and 16349 cases were discharged from Taiwan (13742 cases were discharged and 846 cases died).
