National Health Commission: there were 30 new confirmed cases and 13 imported cases yesterday.

Thirty new confirmed cases were reported from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps from 0 to 24:00 on Oct. 19, according to the official website of the National Health Commission. Among them, 13 cases were imported from abroad (7 in Shanghai, 3 in Guangdong, 1 in Fujian, 1 in Henan and 1 in Shaanxi), including 3 cases changed from asymptomatic infection to confirmed case (1 case in Henan, 1 case in Guangdong and 1 case in Shaanxi). There were 17 local cases (8 in Inner Mongolia, including 5 in Alashan League and 3 in Xilingol League; 4 in Gansu, all in Lanzhou; 1 in Beijing, in Fengtai District; and 1 in Guizhou, in Zunyi City). Yunnan 1 case, in Dehong Dai Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture; Shaanxi 1 case, in Xi'an City; Ningxia 1 case, in Wuzhong City), including 1 case changed from asymptomatic infection to confirmed case (in Shaanxi). There were no new deaths. There were no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 39 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 1994 people were in close contact with medical observation, and the severe cases were the same as the day before.

There are 437 confirmed cases (including 1 severe case) and 2 suspected cases imported from abroad. A total of 9451 cases were confirmed, 9014 cases were cured and discharged, and there were no deaths.

As of 24:00 on October 19, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there were 505 confirmed cases (including 1 severe case), 91460 cured and discharged cases, and 4636 deaths. A total of 96601 confirmed cases and 2 suspected cases have been reported. A total of 1216152 close contacts were tracked and 21291 were still under medical observation.

22 new asymptomatic infections were reported in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, including 18 imported cases and 4 local cases (2 from Yunnan, both in Dehong Dai Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture and 2 from Gansu, all in Lanzhou). 4 cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day (3 cases imported from abroad), and 18 cases were relieved from medical observation on the same day (17 cases imported from abroad). 356 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (339 cases were imported from abroad).

A total of 28721 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 12301 cases were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (11998 cases were discharged and 213 died), 77 cases were discharged from the Macao Special Administrative region (66 cases were discharged) and 16343 cases were discharged from Taiwan (13742 cases were discharged and 846 cases died).
