From 0 to 24:00 on October 15, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 14 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (4 in Shanghai, 3 in Henan, 3 in Hubei, 2 in Zhejiang, 1 in Yunnan and 1 in Shaanxi), including 5 cases converted from asymptomatic infection to confirmed cases (3 in Henan and 2 in Zhejiang), according to the official website of the National Health Commission. There were no new deaths. There were no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 49 new cured and discharged cases were cured, 2094 close contacts were relieved from medical observation, and one more severe case was found than the previous day.

There are 462 confirmed cases (including 1 severe case) and 2 suspected cases imported from abroad. A total of 9381 cases were confirmed, 8919 cases were cured and discharged, and there were no deaths.

As of 24:00 on October 15, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there were 521 confirmed cases (including 1 severe case), a total of 91345 cured and discharged cases, and a cumulative death of 4636 cases. a total of 96502 confirmed cases and 2 suspected cases have been reported. A total of 1209424 close contacts were tracked and 20223 were still under medical observation.

18 new asymptomatic infections were reported in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, including 15 imported cases and 3 local cases (2 in Yunnan, all in Dehong Dai Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture; 1 in Xinjiang, in Urumqi). On the same day, 5 cases were confirmed (all imported from abroad), and 17 cases were relieved from medical observation on the same day (all imported from abroad). 372 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (359 cases were imported from abroad).

A total of 28687 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 12285 cases were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (11980 cases were discharged and 213 died), 77 cases were discharged from the Macao Special Administrative region (66 cases were discharged) and 16325 cases were discharged from Taiwan (13742 cases were discharged and 846 cases died).

A major green hydrogen project in South Africa has taken another key step forward. Hive Hydrogen South Africa announced on September 15 that it has formally awarded the front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for its approximately USD 5.8 billion green hydrogen and green ammonia project to Spanish engineering firm Técnicas Reunidas.
