According to the official website of the National Health Commission, from 0 to 24:00 on October 14, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 10 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (3 in Yunnan, 2 in Tianjin, 2 in Henan, 1 in Shanghai, 1 in Guangxi and 1 in Shaanxi), including 3 cases from asymptomatic infection to confirmed cases (1 case in Tianjin, 1 case in Yunnan and 1 case in Shaanxi). There were no new deaths. One new suspected case was imported from abroad (in Shanghai).

On the same day, 84 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 1278 people were in close contact with medical observation, and the severe cases were the same as the day before.

There are 476 confirmed cases (no severe cases) and 2 suspected cases imported from abroad. A total of 9367 cases were confirmed, 8891 cases were cured and discharged, and there were no deaths.

As of 24:00 on October 14, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, there were 556 confirmed cases (no severe cases), a total of 91296 cured and discharged cases, a total of 4636 deaths, and a total of 96488 confirmed cases and 2 suspected cases. A total of 1208771 close contacts were tracked and 21664 were still under medical observation.

Thirty-one provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps reported 25 new asymptomatic infections (all imported from abroad), 3 confirmed cases on the same day (all imported from abroad). 16 cases were relieved of medical observation on the same day (14 cases imported from abroad); 376 cases of asymptomatic infection under medical observation (366 cases imported from abroad).

A total of 28674 confirmed cases have been reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 12276 cases were discharged from the Hong Kong Special Administrative region (11971 cases were discharged and 213 died), 77 cases were discharged from the Macao Special Administrative region (66 cases were discharged) and 16321 cases were discharged from Taiwan (13742 cases were discharged and 846 cases died).

A major green hydrogen project in South Africa has taken another key step forward. Hive Hydrogen South Africa announced on September 15 that it has formally awarded the front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for its approximately USD 5.8 billion green hydrogen and green ammonia project to Spanish engineering firm Técnicas Reunidas.
