On October 9, Honeycomb Energy signed a cooperation agreement with Jintan District people's Government of Changzhou City with an additional investment of 15 billion yuan to further strengthen the economic function of Changzhou headquarters. Yang Hongxin, chairman and CEO of Honeycomb Energy, Lu Qiuming, secretary of Jintan District CPC Committee, Wu Xiaohua, deputy secretary and acting mayor of Jintan District Party Committee, and leaders of major departments of the district party committee and district government attended the signing ceremony.
According to the investment agreement, Honeycomb Energy plans to invest about 15 billion yuan in Jintan, mainly to build a new energy battery project with an annual production capacity of about 40GWh. The planned land of the project is about 1100 mu, which is divided into two phases of construction. Up to now, the total capacity planning of honeycomb energy has exceeded 200GWH, of which the planned investment in Jintan Park in Changzhou has reached 23 billion yuan, which is the largest area of honeycomb energy investment at present.
The new project, which will further strengthen the economic function of Changzhou headquarters, is an important step in expanding honeycomb energy production capacity and speeding up the realization of strategic goals. At present, the development of new energy vehicle industry is faster than expected. Changzhou is the gathering place of new energy vehicle and green energy industry chain, and its geographical location, supply chain and policy support are very superior. In the face of strong market demand, Honeycomb Energy actively promotes the global capacity layout, mainly along the Yangtze River, concentrated in the Yangtze River Delta, South China and Southwest China. In the future, Honeycomb Energy will take Changzhou as the headquarters base, radiate the whole country, and achieve the strategic goal of using Changzhou as the enterprise headquarters to lead the rapid development of the enterprise.
